Also, Lupin’s father’s mindset was literally just:

1. Find the femme fatale thief
2. Knock her out and wear her clothing
3. Act lewd in front of your own son
4. Fake knowing anything, then just wait for someone to die because the whole competition was just to kill someone off
5. Do nothing else
6. Leave
7. ???
8. Profit

That sentence had many fans fuming as they started thinking Lupin iii isn’t actually a descendant of Arsene, but someone who won the race of Lupin inheritance.

My guess from back then that Lupin is indeed his descendant and what actually happened was a race to see who was more worthy of that ‘title’ was true.

I like how this prequel is actually exploring what Lupin said and we might actually get the reason why Albert backed off.

Lmao, Arsene is a friggin nut. Within seconds of his appearance we’ve got nudity and blood, and he’s just in bed! Also, this ending theme is really cool.

Only drawback to this show, is the lack of the iconic lupin the 3rd theme song. I love listening to it at the beginning of every episode. But this one is... not it. 3 episodes, and this new one hasnt grown on me yet.
